The Ramblings of Lady EL

Who is Destiny Rambo McGuire?

Destiny Rambo McGuire
Singer

A fashionable Inspirational Christian Music Artist. I have had the Honor to meet Destiny in person, her voice is like Healing and Joy to my soul. Earlier this year I had yet another opportunity to hear her sing. I drove to The Rivers at Music City in Tennessee and listened to the Rambo's sing. Destiny Rambo McGuire always seems to blow me away with her passion to sing. The sound of her voice just resounds in any place. I've acquired quite a liking to her fashion sense. As much as I follow fashion in Hollywood and the newest trends I have to admit I admire Destiny for all her different styles and fashions. They are tasteful, unique and glamorous. I could sit or stand for hours and listen to her sweet voice sing such inspirational and passionate songs. There are many Inspirational Christian artists today, Destiny is one of them that submits herself as a vessel and is used by Holy Spirit. During Praise & Worship you must know the importance of the presence of the Holy Spirit. When Destiny sings it manifests so strongly through her sweet powerful voice.

Destiny is no stranger to the stage and platform. She began traveling with her parents as an infant and, even as a toddler, was quick to win the hearts of people with her infectious charm and talent. When she was 2 years old, her brother, Israel Anthem, was born and by the time he was 18 months old they were singing, dancing, reciting Scriptures, and became an intricate part of their parents’ ministry.
Destiny has intensively studied music, piano, voice, art, and drama. Along with years of private tutoring, she studied dance at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN, and has a Bachelors in Christian Counseling from Destiny Christian College.Destiny has an exceptionally rich heritage of music and ministry. Her grandparents, Buck and Dottie Rambo, are pioneers in the southern Gospel world of performers and writers. Her parents, Dony and Reba Rambo-McGuire are certainly trendsetters in contemporary Christian music.
"I like to think of myself as an octopus," Destiny says. "I love keeping my hands involved in as many of the aspects of the arts as I can and building bridges between them."

Should WOMEN have a Voice?

I have to say YES to women having a Voice!
There are many women who speak into my life and who live a life of leadership. My Mother for example has always been a woman to take charge and lead. When she speaks my soul feeds on her words. She is wise and lives a life of truth and hope.  Tara Travis , whom I met within the last year is a powerful speaker and motivator. She encourages me weekly and pushes me to be a great success in the marketplace. Elaine Overcash, a dear friend who's heart just pours passion and words of wisdom into my life.  Lady Delia Knox  "From Wheels to Heels" a beautiful lady who received a miracle and now after 20 years of being  in a wheelchair walks and talks and inspires and just blesses people by her voice and smile. There are many women in the world today who have a voice, and use  it well! I believe a Man and Woman should not be judged in gender when speaking, especially in the church. I grew up with a pentecostal  background, and have yet to hear of a "woman" preaching in the church in Romania.  [one day that will come to pass]! I personally have had  the opportunity to run my own Business and  have always had a passion to lead. Does this mean that I should sit and be silent because this is  what people believe? Absolutely not! Follow the link below to read about what others think about Women having a Voice!

The Rhema Marvanne Story

Esther

Esther was an Orphan girl who became Queen; she stood up as a woman and led her people into freedom.
Though Esther became a Queen she never forgot where she came from, she continued to obey and council with Mordecai who was her head covering. Her life was not her own, she lived and thrived for the will of her Father.
God’s name is never mentioned in the book of Esther, though we can all see how Gods hand worked throughout the whole book. The Author is not 100% known. This book signifies how God works through us in the world. Not just in church or with folk.
In Hebrew, Esther means “hidden”, and is the Persian word for “Star”. ESTHER was a Hidden Star! She was an Endureer and understood that the King will continue to spend the night with other young women from the Harem. She denied herself and was Submissive to God’s desires. She was Tolerant with a controlling, hot tempered man who was prone to drunkenness and rash decisions. She remained Hopeful even when she could not even talk with her husband unless he called for her. She remained Esoterical until the time was right;
Esther 4:14 “For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your Father’s Family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to royal position for such a time as this?”
She was a Ravisher; God blessed her with charm and beauty that surpassed that of other women.
Even though Esther’s personal situation didn’t change dramatically, there is a great Ending. We may not get to marry a Prince/Princess that is full of charm and beauty. Our Children may not always grow up to be Kings/Queens. What we thought was the perfect job gives us more stress and frustration then imagined. We must seek God in all we do! He may dramatically change our situation or for some remain in a difficult situation because he has a greater more beautiful plan. We may have high hopes in our Relationships, Careers, Education, and Living situations. God will give us wisdom to eliminate “---“ out of our life, shift some “---“ or give us Grace to Endure the “---“. Esther did not seek recognition for her willingness to obey and follow his plan and great victory in freedom for the Jews. God will bless those do right whether other acknowledge it or not.
In the Book of Esther Haman served King Xerxes and observed his ways. Kind Xerxes commanded his wife to appear naked except her royal crown. He burned with anger and over reacted and lost his any connection with his wife and began a search for a new wife. Later he was sorry. Haman began to over react in his anger. He quickly got offended being full of pride and plotted a kill, and was killed with the very Gallows he created to killed another.
Proverbs 22:24-25 “Do not make friends with a hot tempered person, do not associate with one easily angered, or you may learn their ways and get yourself ensnared.”
It says in Proverbs to not associate ourselves with easily angered people or we may become alike. Have you ever encountered a person, or persons, who were inexplicitly intent on ruining your reputation or character? Know that our enemies are defeated in the same way they attempt to defeat us. Haman did not Hope nor Believe in God. Therefore when our Hope is not in God, we allow our feelings to determine our gratitude. We believe that we can control people and circumstances. We live a very self-centered life! We must realize that our best recourse against injustice is prayer!
Mordecai never grew weary and remained faithful though he did not immediately see God’s blessing upon his life. We may be able to relate more to Mordecai in our striving to do what is right on a daily basis in the little things that we can.
Galatians 6:9 “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not”.
Sometimes we may be too wrapped up in our own hardships and duties to realize we need to have patience and accompany God as he works his purpose in our lives. Mordecai was faithful to his King for years! He raised Esther as his own and instilled wisdom, humility and grace in her character. He saved the King’s life. He remained faithful in following God’s word only to hear that he and his people are up for extermination. Though he mourned he stood strong and encouraged and strengthened Esther in what she needed to do. He remained faithful though he mourned, his focus and hope was on God’s plan and purpose! John 16:20-24 20 Very truly I tell you, you will weep and mourn while the world rejoices. You will grieve, but your grief will turn to joy. 21 A woman giving birth to a child has pain because her time has come; but when her baby is born she forgets the anguish because of her joy that a child is born into the world. 22 So with you: Now is your time of grief, but I will see you again and you will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy. 23 In that day you will no longer ask me anything. Very truly I tell you, my Father will give you whatever you ask in my name. 24 Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete. Not only is Mordecai rewarded for years in the past but he was clothed in royal apparel of the King. All the Jewish people not only were survived but received the upper hand.
How much greater is our God than any enemy? How much greater is he then an Ex? A Drug Addict, An Abuser, a Liar, A Cheater, An Adulterer, A Tormentor, A past Experience, A heart ache or a painful memory? How much greater is he than any of our life’s quarrel’s? If we hope and believe in his plan and purpose, he will make us not only survive but live in complete Joy that no one can take away! When we face hardships, it may be hard for us to see past what is affecting us in that moment. Shortsightedness is a part of our human nature and we must seek God’s perspective which is always Long Range!
The Book of Esther is a perfect example of the covenant relationships we must have with one another full of Love, Wisdom, and Peace!
